T3 Writing Goals

By the end of Term 3 I will improve my ideas in my writing so I write fro a purpose and give the audience a clear message.
I did this in my speech, have read of it.

By the end Term 3 I will use linking words and phrases to link some of my paragraphs.

Update : By the end of Term 4 I will know how to use a different range of sentences like complex and compound sentences because I want to use a different range of sentences to create flow pace and interest with different starters to hook the audience in. 

By the end of Term 3 I will able to know what different words mean and use them to help understand what I am reading.

Hei Tiki

Matua George teaching us about Guide Sophia. 

Last Friday my class went to a museum trip, Matua George and  Whai Rebecca showed us the history of the Hei Tiki. Firstly they told about Guide Sophia, a very important woman who sheltered many people during the Mt. Tarawera eruption and, she is also known for wearing a lot of Hei Tiki. And after that Whai Rebecca showed us pictures if it is disrespectful to the Hei Tiki or not. And also we did a Hei  Tiki ( not an actual one though LOL ) . We used some felt, thread, and buttons.

My writing goal for term 2 is to use a range of different sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

Auckland Camp 2018

A few weeks ago I went to camp and I saw a lot of amazing places so this is what we saw at camp:

On the day we were leaving to go to Auckland  but we first have to go to Auckland Memorial Museum and  saw a lot of stuff like cannons and volcanoes.When we were done looking at the stuff in the museum, and then we went back to the bus and ready to go Willow Park camp and organized  our stuff.


On the second day of we visited Sky Tower I didn't like it that much because i'm afraid of heights if I see people Skywalking or bungee jumping of the tower I would freak out.After Sky Tower of to Rangitoto Island on the ferry and while we were walking  it was super hot! We went back to camp I  was very tired but we still have games to play after the games we gone to sleep

And then on the third day we went Motat I have seen some cool stuff like bicycles,planes,and games
other fun stuff there after Motat we visited the friendly Josephite Sisters. And we had fun games when we arrived at camp.

On the last day we went to Hamilton Zoo and I saw a lot animals like chimpanzees,meerkats,giraffes and more amazing animals after a few hours we went back to the bus and headed back to Rotorua.
